We are thankful to be apart of a great organization called, Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan Purse.  You can pick your box up at church and a card for a boy/girl and fill it with gifts for a child who doesn't receive anything for Christmas and that box you fill will only be what they get for Christmas. Also, remember the most important while filling the shoe box is to pray for the little boy or girl receiving it.  Imagine the joy and happiness you will bring to another little boy or girl.  On the card be sure and specify what age.  Just put a rubber band around the box with the tag on top and bring it back to church.  We will take care of the rest.

Not sure what to include in your shoe box?  Here are some ideas to get you started.
 

Toys: Include items that children will immediately embrace such as toy cars, yo-yos, jump ropes, balls, toys that light up and make noise (with extra batteries), etc.

School Supplies: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.

​

Non-liquid Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, bar soap, combs, washcloths, etc.

​

Accessories: T-shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries),

​

Crafts: Make your own items such as hair bows, finger puppets, and friendship bracelets.

 Or, if you would rather just bring different items in, we will have basket available.
